Part 1: Why the Manas SUM Deer Girl Statue Deserves Attention

A Unique Original Character Concept

The Manas SUM Deer Girl is an original character rather than a collectible based on a mainstream anime or game franchise.

The character concept combines a young girl with deer characteristics, creating a graceful human-and-animal design. This approach gives the statue a distinctive identity and allows it to stand apart from more familiar character figures.

For collectors who enjoy discovering original character statues, the Deer Girl offers a refreshing alternative to conventional franchise-based collectibles.

Inspired by the Deer Lady

The concept of Deer Girl draws inspiration from the story of the Deer Lady recorded in Buddhist scriptures.

Rather than simply reproducing a traditional mythical figure, the design reinterprets the human-and-deer concept through a contemporary artistic style.

This gives the collectible a balance between traditional cultural inspiration and modern fantasy character design.

A Graceful Human-and-Deer Design

The combination of human and deer characteristics is central to the character’s visual identity.

The concept creates a softer and more elegant atmosphere than a typical action-oriented fantasy statue. As a result, the Deer Girl can appeal to collectors who prefer romantic fantasy characters, mythical creatures, and artistic statues.

Part 2: Oriental Fantasy Aesthetic and Display Design

A Blend of Traditional Culture and Fantasy

One of the most distinctive qualities of the Manas SUM Deer Girl Statue is its Oriental fantasy aesthetic.

The design incorporates references to traditional Chinese culture and Buddhist scripture while presenting them through an imaginative collectible format.

This combination creates an atmosphere that feels both traditional and contemporary, giving the statue a visual identity that differs from mainstream anime collectibles.

A Practical 29 cm Display Height

The finished statue measures approximately H29 × L29 × W26 cm, including the platform.

Although the scale has not been specified, the approximately 29 cm height gives the Deer Girl a noticeable presence on a shelf or display cabinet.

The dimensions also provide collectors with a useful reference when planning their display space.

A Large 40 cm Display Platform

The display platform has a diameter of approximately 40 cm, giving the complete collectible a substantial footprint.

This large base helps create a more complete presentation and allows the statue to function as an artistic centerpiece.

Collectors should take the platform dimensions into consideration when planning a shelf or display cabinet, as the overall footprint is significantly wider than the character’s height alone.

Resin Construction

The Deer Girl is presented as a resin coating finished product.

The resin construction complements the statue’s artistic focus and original character concept. It gives the collectible a presentation suited to collectors who appreciate resin statues and sculptural character designs.

A Romantic Oriental Fantasy Atmosphere

The Manas SUM Deer Girl combines traditional Chinese cultural references with an imaginative fantasy approach.

This gives the statue a romantic and mysterious atmosphere while maintaining the recognizable human-and-deer concept.

For collectors who enjoy Oriental fantasy art, mythology-inspired characters, and original collectible statues, this aesthetic can add a completely different visual direction to an existing collection.

Part 3: Why Original Character Statues Are Worth Exploring

A Different Choice from Mainstream Collectibles

Many collectors build their collections around popular anime, manga, and game franchises. Original character statues provide an opportunity to explore a different type of collectible.

Because the Deer Girl is presented as an original character, its appeal comes primarily from the concept, artistic design, and cultural inspiration rather than existing franchise recognition.

This makes it an interesting choice for collectors who want something less conventional.

An Artistic Centerpiece

The combination of an original character, mythology-inspired concept, resin construction, and large display platform gives the Manas SUM Deer Girl Statue strong centerpiece potential.

Its approximately 40 cm platform diameter creates a substantial display footprint, while the character itself remains the main focus of the composition.

Rather than simply filling a shelf with another character figure, collectors can use the Deer Girl as an artistic focal point.

Building an Oriental Fantasy Collection

The Manas SUM Deer Girl can work particularly well in a display focused on Oriental fantasy, mythology, original characters, or artistic statues.

Collectors can place it alongside other fantasy-themed pieces or give it a dedicated display space.

Its cultural inspiration also makes it a distinctive addition to collections dominated by conventional anime or game figures.

The large platform should be considered when arranging the display, but the additional space can also help the statue stand apart from smaller collectibles.

Who Should Buy the Manas SUM Deer Girl Statue?

The Manas SUM Deer Girl Statue is particularly suitable for several types of collectors.

First, it is an appealing option for fans of original character statues who enjoy collecting characters outside established anime and game franchises.

Second, collectors interested in Chinese mythology, Buddhist-inspired concepts, and Oriental fantasy may appreciate its distinctive cultural inspiration.

Third, resin statue collectors looking for an artistic centerpiece can enjoy the combination of sculptural character design and substantial display platform.

Finally, collectors who want to introduce a different aesthetic into an existing anime figure collection may find the Deer Girl an especially interesting choice.
