GG Studio Groudon, Kyogre & Mega Rayquaza: 50 Units of Hoenn Legend

Three legendary Pokémon in one composition is an ambitious brief.

GG Studio’s Groudon Kyogre Statue goes further by adding Mega Rayquaza above them, and the finished piece measures roughly 51 by 71 by 60 cm.

Production is capped at 50 units, and the run is offered as a TOPGK limited edition.

Pre-orders open at $469 for the deposit and $1,176 for full payment.

The Hoenn Weather Trio Idea

Groudon commands land, Kyogre rises from water and Rayquaza rules the sky above both.

That hierarchy is what makes the composition work. The three figures are stacked rather than placed side by side, so the piece reads as a single event instead of three statues sharing a base.

It also means the display wants a viewing height. Placed too low, the upper section disappears into shadow.

Fifty Units in Total

Fifty pieces is a small number for a Pokémon release.

Pokémon collectibles draw a wide audience, and limited resin runs of this size usually clear before release. Availability is the deciding factor rather than price.

That also means the resale market sets the tone afterwards. Buyers planning to own the piece long term are better served than those hedging.

The Groudon Kyogre Statue carries lighting through the Pokémon, the base and the Mega Stones, which is unusual even at this size.

LED Lighting Across the Build

Lighting is built into the Pokémon figures, the display base and the Mega Stones.

That spread matters. Single-point lighting on a diorama this wide tends to leave dark sections, while distributed LEDs keep the whole scene readable.

Check the power arrangement before finalising placement, and consider how the cable routes from the base to the nearest outlet.

Original Color or Shiny

The listing offers both Original Color and Shiny Color versions.

Shiny palettes are a collector tradition, and on a piece this large the difference is immediately visible rather than subtle.

Choose against your existing shelf. A shiny trio stands out beside standard colourways, which is either the point or a problem depending on the display.

Because the Groudon Kyogre Statue spreads rather than stacks, width matters more than height when you plan the surface.

Space for 71 cm

Roughly 71 cm of width and 60 cm of depth means this is not a cabinet piece.

A sideboard, a low bench or a dedicated pedestal will handle it. Standard shelving will not, especially once the base is included.

Leave clearance for the widest point of the spread, which is the base rather than the figures.

At 50 units, the Groudon Kyogre Statue is more likely to close before release than to sit available afterwards.

Deposit or Full Payment

The deposit is $469 and full payment is $1,176.

With only 50 pieces, the deposit route carries a real risk of missing out if the run closes before you complete the balance.

Freight is quoted separately and will reflect the size of the crate rather than the weight alone.

Keep the Groudon Kyogre Statue out of direct sun, since large resin surfaces fade unevenly.

Care and Display

Dust with a soft brush, working from the top down and moving carefully around the environmental effects.

Keep the piece out of direct sun. Large resin surfaces fade unevenly, and the discolouration is difficult to reverse.

Store the original packaging. On a 50-unit run, it is part of the piece.

Who the Groudon and Kyogre Statue Suits

Pokémon collectors who already own large resin displays will recognise the format.

It also suits anyone building a Hoenn-themed shelf, and buyers looking for a centrepiece rather than another mid-size statue.

Reserve the Groudon and Kyogre Statue

With 50 units available, availability changes quickly. Current pricing for both colourways is on the product page.
