The Zack Fair Statue is a monument to the character Final Fantasy VII players meet last and remember first.
He is the protagonist of Crisis Core, the SOLDIER who trained under Angeal and the friend Cloud never quite stops carrying. Dragon Studio has built him at 1/4 scale as the third entry in its FF Series, and the Zack Fair Statue stands approximately 75 cm tall.
It ships in two configurations, with a metal nameplate and his signature weapons.
Who Is Zack Fair?
Zack first appears in Final Fantasy VII as a memory: the SOLDIER who died on the road outside Midgar and left Cloud with his sword and his story. Crisis Core filled in the man behind that memory, following him from a cheerful second-class recruit to the first-class operative who takes on a battle he cannot win.
His design carries the arc. The SOLDIER uniform, the dark hair, the Buster Sword over his shoulder and the earring are all immediately recognisable, and his posture in almost every piece of official art is open rather than guarded.
That is what makes him a good statue subject. Zack is one of the few Final Fantasy characters whose appeal is entirely about optimism, and a good sculpt has to keep that even in a combat stance.
Why 1/4 Scale Suits Him
The Buster Sword is the reason. It is one of the largest weapons in the series, and it needs a large canvas to look like what it is: a slab of metal that most people could not lift.
At 1/4 scale, the blade, the harness and the uniform detail all get enough room to hold their shape. At 1/7 or 1/6, the same design tends to compress into a silhouette with less impact.

Normal Edition or EX Edition
The release is offered as a Normal Edition and an EX Edition. The EX adds interchangeable components and an expanded weapon selection, which is the standard split for statues in this series.
The decision comes down to display flexibility. If you want one fixed pose that looks right, the Normal Edition does everything the sculpt needs. If you change poses regularly or want the option of reworking the display later, the EX is the version that keeps the piece interesting.
Check exactly which weapons and parts are included before ordering, because the two editions are not always documented clearly on reseller listings.
Zack Fair Statue: A 75 cm Display Piece
Seventy-five centimetres is not a shelf item. At that height, the Zack Fair Statue needs its own table or a dedicated cabinet with a clear top section, and it will be the tallest object in almost any collection room.
The metal nameplate is worth noting as well, because it changes how the piece reads. A nameplate turns a statue into a display object rather than a toy, and it usually means the base is finished to a corresponding standard.
If you already own the earlier entries in the FF Series, keep the spacing between them consistent. Matching statues placed at the same height read as one display, while mismatched heights make a series look like an accumulation.
Light the piece from above and slightly to the side. A single warm source will pick out the uniform detail and keep the sword blade from reading as a flat grey stripe.

Zack Fair Statue: Payment and Availability
This release is listed for full payment, and it is in stock rather than open for pre-order. That shortens the process: there is no production wait, and the shipping quote is based on the actual carton.
Because Dragon Studio’s FF Series is a numbered line, collectors who own the earlier entries may want to keep the set consistent. Confirm the edition number and the included parts before you pay.
Care and Handling of the Zack Fair Statue
Resin statues of this size should always be moved in two hands, with the load taken under the base. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight, dust it with a soft brush, and avoid solvents on the painted surfaces.
If you have the EX Edition, store the spare parts in the original foam rather than in a bag. Interchangeable components are the easiest thing to lose and the hardest to replace.
Who the Zack Fair Statue Is For
This Zack Fair Statue suits Final Fantasy VII collectors who want the Crisis Core protagonist at the scale his sword deserves. It also suits collectors of large-format game statues who value a metal nameplate and a finished base.
Meanwhile, collectors with limited space should measure carefully first. A 75 cm statue is a commitment to the room, not just to the shelf.
