🎨 Moka Studio – Pokémon Pikachu “Grey Felt Hat” Van Gogh Art Statue

Where Pokémon charm meets the expressive beauty of fine art.

Moka Studio presents Pikachu “Grey Felt Hat,” a fan-made GK statue inspired by the artistic crossover between Pokémon and Vincent van Gogh. Standing approximately 40 cm tall, this collectible reimagines the beloved Electric-type Pokémon with a distinctive grey felt hat, bringing together Pikachu’s familiar charm and the visual character of post-Impressionist painting.

Pikachu retains its instantly recognizable appearance, including its bright yellow body, rosy cheeks, expressive eyes, and iconic lightning-bolt-shaped tail. Meanwhile, the addition of the grey hat gives the character a fresh artistic identity. The result is a playful yet sophisticated display piece that celebrates the meeting of pop culture and classical art.

Limited to 168 pieces, this release offers a distinctive option for Pokémon fans, art enthusiasts, and collectors who appreciate creative character reinterpretations.

🎨 A Charming Pokémon Reimagined Through Art

Pikachu’s gentle standing pose preserves the warmth and friendliness that have made the character a global favorite. Its rounded silhouette, rosy cheeks, and bright expression create an inviting appearance. In addition, the subtle upward curve of its mouth gives the figure a cheerful, approachable personality.

The grey felt hat changes the overall impression without taking away Pikachu’s familiar charm. Its understated color contrasts with the character’s vivid yellow body, creating a balanced combination of playful character design and artistic elegance.

Rather than relying on an elaborate action pose, this statue celebrates the character through simplicity and carefully chosen details. As a result, it can appeal to both dedicated Pokémon collectors and fans of art-inspired collectibles.

🖌️ Textured Hat Inspired by Van Gogh’s Brushstrokes

The grey felt hat is the defining feature of this release. Its surface incorporates numerous directional grooves and raised lines, creating a textured appearance that differs from the smooth finish commonly seen on conventional character figures.

These sculpted lines evoke the expressive brushwork associated with Vincent van Gogh’s paintings. Their varied directions add depth to the hat, while the textured finish gives the sculpture a more tactile, painterly character.

The contrast between the hat’s grey surface and Pikachu’s bright yellow body further emphasizes the design. Together, these details create a distinctive visual connection between a beloved video game character and the expressive language of fine art.

⚡ Classic Pikachu Details and Display Appeal

Although the hat takes center stage, Pikachu’s signature features remain essential to the design. Its round eyes, red cheeks, small mouth, and lightning-bolt tail preserve the character’s recognizable silhouette.

The bright yellow body also stands out against darker display surroundings. Consequently, the statue can work well as a focal point on a collector’s shelf, within a Pokémon display, or as part of an art-inspired collectible arrangement.

At approximately 40 cm tall, it offers a noticeable presence without relying on an oversized diorama base. Its combination of familiar character design and textured artistic detailing makes it a distinctive alternative to standard Pokémon figures.
