🐺 MAP Studio × UTS Studio – Wolverine Weapon X Experiment Ver. | 1/6 Marvel Resin Statue

“They made me a weapon. They should have thought twice before letting me out.”

⚔️ Unleashed fury. Adamantium claws. A mutant built to survive the impossible.

Created through a collaboration between Men At Play Studio (MAP Studio) and UTS Studio, this 1/6 scale Wolverine statue captures Logan in his brutal Weapon X experiment subject form. Inspired by Marvel’s iconic mutant, the piece focuses on raw physical power, ferocious expression, and the destructive aftermath of a violent escape.

Rather than portraying Wolverine in his familiar superhero costume, this release presents him as a dangerous weapon fresh from an experimental facility. His heavily defined physique, extended Adamantium claws, and mechanical wreckage base combine to create a darker, more aggressive interpretation of the character.

Limited to 188 pieces, this collectible is designed for Marvel fans who appreciate muscular character sculpting, industrial science-fiction details, and intense display compositions.

💪 A Savage Physique Built for Battle

Wolverine’s muscular body is the centerpiece of this statue. His broad chest, sharply defined eight-pack abs, powerful shoulders, and heavily developed thighs create a physique that conveys exceptional strength and endurance.

Layered shading and gradient-style paintwork emphasize the separation between muscle groups. These transitions help bring out the sculpted contours, giving the body a sense of weight, tension, and physical presence.

His posture reinforces that impression. Standing firmly across the ruined base, Logan appears ready to charge at his next opponent. His clenched fists and tense arms suggest restrained violence, as though the battle has only just begun.

The result is a powerful interpretation of Wolverine’s mutant abilities, combining an imposing silhouette with carefully sculpted anatomical detail.

🐺 Logan’s Ferocious Expression

Wolverine’s face captures a moment of barely controlled rage. His head turns slightly to one side, his teeth are clenched, and his eyes remain fixed on an unseen enemy.

The sculpt highlights his recognizable hairstyle, with unruly side locks framing his face. Rough facial stubble adds another layer of realism, reinforcing Logan’s rugged appearance.

Together, these features capture the character’s familiar berserker temperament. He looks less like a polished superhero and more like a survivor who has endured brutal experiments and emerged even more dangerous.

This expression also complements the Weapon X theme. The statue presents Wolverine as a living weapon whose instincts and determination remain impossible to contain.

⚔️ Iconic Adamantium Claws

No Wolverine statue would be complete without his signature claws.

Both fists are tightly clenched, with three claws extending from each hand. Their sharp, slightly asymmetrical angles create a sense of movement, as though Logan has just drawn his weapons before striking.

The cool silver finish contrasts with the warmer tones of his skin and the vivid red elements on the base. Meanwhile, the extended claws widen the overall silhouette, making the statue visually striking from multiple viewing angles.

These iconic weapons are more than recognizable accessories. They communicate Wolverine’s fighting style at a glance and remain central to the identity of the character.

🧪 Weapon X Tactical Equipment

Instead of a traditional superhero outfit, this version of Logan wears a heavy-duty black tactical belt inspired by the machinery of the Weapon X facility.

The belt features sculpted control panels, technical wiring, modular compartments, and mechanical fastening details. Its industrial appearance creates a deliberate contrast with Wolverine’s exposed muscular body.

This design choice reinforces the experimental setting. The mechanical equipment suggests a facility built to restrain, monitor, and control a powerful mutant, while Logan’s tense stance implies that those systems have already failed.

The combination of biological strength and cold technological detail gives the statue a distinct science-fiction atmosphere. It also separates this version from Wolverine releases focused on his classic yellow-and-blue or brown-and-tan costumes.

🔥 A Destroyed Experimental Facility Base

The mechanical wreckage beneath Wolverine tells the story of a violent breakout.

Logan stands barefoot across a shattered industrial platform made up of damaged armor panels, exposed components, and battle-worn machinery. Pink-purple mechanical plating creates a striking color contrast, while red high-voltage conduits add a sense of danger.

A thick, curved red cable rises from the base, visually connecting the surrounding wreckage with Wolverine’s imposing figure. Its sweeping shape introduces movement into the composition and reinforces the impression of an experimental chamber torn apart from within.

The weathered surfaces and scattered mechanical elements establish a clear narrative: the facility was designed to contain something dangerous, but Wolverine has broken free.

As a result, the base works as more than a display support. It creates a miniature action scene that gives the statue context and visual depth.

🏆 Collector Notes

For Marvel collectors, this MAP Studio × UTS Studio release explores a darker side of Wolverine’s story. Instead of emphasizing his superhero identity, it focuses on the Weapon X period, when Logan’s body was subjected to experimentation and transformed into an even more formidable weapon.

The strongest visual elements are the muscular sculpt, extended claws, and industrial wreckage base. Together, they create a cohesive display that feels closer to a cinematic escape scene than a conventional character portrait.

At approximately 30 cm tall, the statue offers a substantial display presence while maintaining a manageable 1/6 scale footprint. Its red and purple mechanical details also provide strong contrast against the figure’s natural skin tones.

Before ordering, collectors should confirm the current production status because the supplied completion estimate of Q3–Q4 2024 is in the past. It is also worth verifying the exact version and its included parts, as the two listed versions differ in their removable anatomy features.

⚔️ A mutant forged by experimentation, armed with Adamantium claws, and impossible to keep imprisoned—this is Wolverine at his most savage.
