Kotobukiya – The Ring Sadako Horror Bishoujo Series 1/7 Scale TOPGK Limited Edition Figure(Licensed)

📼 Kotobukiya – Sadako HORROR Bishoujo 1/7 Scale Figure | Shunya Yamashita Design

From the darkness of the well, an unforgettable horror icon emerges with haunting beauty.

The legendary Sadako returns in Kotobukiya’s HORROR Bishoujo series, reimagined through the distinctive artistic vision of illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Inspired by one of Japan’s most recognizable horror characters, this 1/7 scale figure blends supernatural dread with the elegant proportions and expressive styling of the Bishoujo aesthetic.

Standing approximately 17 cm tall, Sadako appears to float above a towering pile of videotapes. Her long black hair, pale appearance, and flowing white dress evoke the unsettling atmosphere of her iconic cinematic appearances. At the same time, delicate sculpting and carefully selected materials introduce an eerie sense of fragile beauty.

🖤 Haunting Beauty Meets Japanese Horror

Sadako’s unmistakable silhouette is the centerpiece of this release. Her long black hair falls across her face, creating the familiar sense of mystery that made the character a horror legend.

Shunya Yamashita’s interpretation adds a different dimension to her appearance. Rather than focusing solely on fear, the design balances Sadako’s unsettling presence with a lonely, almost delicate expression. This contrast makes the figure especially compelling for collectors who appreciate horror designs with strong artistic character.

👗 Translucent Dress and Unsettling Details

Sadako’s signature white dress incorporates clear materials to suggest the appearance of wet fabric clinging to her body after emerging from a well. The translucent effect creates visual depth and reinforces the damp, ghostly atmosphere associated with the character.

Additional details on her hands and feet contribute to the unsettling presentation. Her damaged-looking nails, with a reddish finish reminiscent of worn polish, add another layer of horror-inspired realism.

Together, these features give the figure a distinctive appearance that moves beyond a conventional character statue.

👁️ Two Display Expressions

The figure includes interchangeable face parts, allowing collectors to choose between two different presentations.

• Hair-Covered Face: Sadako’s long black hair completely obscures her face, emphasizing her mysterious and frightening presence.
• Visible Gaze: An alternative face reveals her lonely yet beautiful eyes, creating a more emotional and haunting interpretation.

This changeable design lets collectors adjust the mood of the display without changing the character’s recognizable silhouette.

📼 A Supernatural Display of Videotapes

Sadako floats above a towering pile of videotapes, as though suspended by her supernatural powers. The arrangement references the cursed videotape imagery associated with her story and gives the figure a distinctive horror-themed base.

The overflowing tape elements can be arranged to suit your preferred display composition. Two rolls of decorative tape are also included, stored in a special videotape-shaped box. These extras offer additional ways to customize the presentation.

There is also a subtle surprise hidden among the videotapes: one cassette features a special detail that distinguishes it from the others. It is a small discovery worth examining closely when displaying the figure.

🎁 Limited Edition Bonus

A limited-edition alternative face part is included as a bonus. This additional component gives collectors another way to customize Sadako’s expression and makes the release particularly appealing to fans of the HORROR Bishoujo lineup.
