Mari Makinami Illustrious in PLAMATEA Form

Mari Makinami Illustrious is one of the recognizable characters from Rebuild of Evangelion. This Good Smile Company PLAMATEA Mari figure translates her character design into an interactive model kit format.

The design maintains Mari’s recognizable appearance while presenting her as an assembled collectible. Furthermore, the non-scale format makes the finished model easy to incorporate into different display setups.

As a result, the kit works well for both Evangelion fans and collectors who enjoy building character models.

Assembly-Type Plastic Model

Unlike a pre-painted complete figure, this PLAMATEA plastic model is designed for assembly. Therefore, collectors can take part in the building process before placing Mari on display.

The approximately 175mm height provides a substantial finished size without requiring excessive shelf space. Meanwhile, the model format offers a hands-on collecting experience that distinguishes it from conventional static figures.

For model enthusiasts, the assembly process becomes part of the overall appeal.

Rebuild of Evangelion Character Design

The kit is based on Mari Makinami Illustrious from Rebuild of Evangelion, bringing her distinctive character identity into the PLAMATEA lineup.

Moreover, the non-scale format provides flexibility when planning a display. Collectors can showcase Mari independently or integrate her into a larger collection of Evangelion merchandise and model kits.

The finished model provides a focused representation of Mari while retaining the interactive nature of a plastic model.

A Hands-On Addition for Collectors

The Good Smile Company GSC PLAMATEA Mari Makinami Illustrious offers a different collecting experience from a finished statue or pre-painted figure.

Instead, collectors participate in assembling the character model themselves. Furthermore, the completed 175mm figure can become a rewarding display piece after the building process is finished.

For fans of Rebuild of Evangelion and plastic model kits, this release provides an engaging way to add Mari to an existing collection.

May 2027 Release

The Good Smile Company GSC PLAMATEA Rebuild of Evangelion Mari Makinami Illustrious Plastic Model is scheduled for an estimated May 2027 release.

With its approximately 175mm height, non-scale format, and assembly-type construction, this PLAMATEA release offers collectors a hands-on way to bring Mari Makinami Illustrious into their display.
